FROM: Bob Wyneken

Dear Dr. Malkin,

I wanted to let you know how very pleased I was with your treatment for my back condition. As you know, when I came to you I was in serious pain in my upper back, right arm and was experiencing numbness in my thumb, index and middle finger, and tingling there, also. It was very difficult to raise my right arm and simple wrist movement created an almost unbearable situation. Prior to coming to you I had an MRI, x-rays and a nerve conductive test. The results of these tests revealed numerous problems in my back; protruding disks, degenerative disks, bone spurs, arthritis and pinched nerves were the main problems. The recommendation was back surgery where they would do a back fusion. From what I’ve heard, I wanted no part of this unless absolutely necessary. (I have heard too many horror stories regarding this kind of surgery) This is when I came to you and how very fortunate for me that I did. Your Therapeutic Laser and Spinal Decompression treatment, I feel, SAVED MY LIFE in terms of living with an unbearable back condition. As I write this to you I am NOT experiencing any
pain. I still lift objects and move about as I did before this happened. Words can not express my gratitude for your help. Your caring, warmth, gentleness and understanding toward your patients needs is very appreciated. I have shared my experience with others and recommend you to anyone I speak to that could benefit from your care. I hope others that may read this letter will not hesitate to accept your treatment to improve their health. I can’t thank you enough for what you did for me. God Bless.

Sincerely,

Bob Wyneken

Dear Arthur Malkin:

I am writing this letter to you to say thank you for all you have done to help me heal. I feel so very blessed to have met you. When I heard you were a Chiropractor, I figured why not share with you about the chronic pain I have had for my entire adult life, on the off chance that you might be able to offer me some sort of advice or treatment that Ihadn’t yet tried. As you know, I have suffered from severe neck and shoulder pain since my early 20′s. I had no specific injury or accident that caused the onset of my chronic pain. I saw a Chiropractor in my 20′s who used ultrasound therapy. On the lowest setting, it would send my shoulder into uncontrollable spasm I also tried cortisone injections in my shoulder, which didn’t help at all. I saw all types of doctors over the years for the pain including primary care physicians, Orthopedic Doctors, a Neurologist, none of whom could tell me anything other then I had Myofascial pain and muscle spasms. No amount of painkillers, anti-inflammatory medication or muscle relaxers helped to significantly reduce my pain. At 41 years old, I felt like I had the body of an 80 year old. At rock bottom, I decided I had to lose weight to help with the pain I was experiencing in my neck and shoulders. After losing 75 pounds, I was dismayed to find out that I was still in a significant amount of pain. I felt that I was miraculously led to meet you last year at the fishing derby. You shared with me that you had a laser therapy machine that was showing a lot of promise with your patients. Figuring I had nothing to loose, I decided to give it a shot. You were so patient and understanding about the pain I was in. I felt like you were one of the first Doctors that really cared about my healing. After the first laser treatment, I felt immediate relief. Thanks to your writing a letter to my primary care physician, I was able to expedite having an x-ray and MRI of my neck, which did show disk bulging and tendon tears. I continued twice a week laser treatments, which significantly helped my pain. My primary care physician wanted to put me on Neurontin (Gabapentin), a drug used for Epileptics, which has also helped patients with nerve pain. I was determined to do what I needed to get well without major medication. You provided me with nutritional advice, health articles and the wonderful laser treatments, which has helped me on my road to physical recovery. I never left a treatment not feeling better than when I walked in. I would highly recommend the laser to other patients suffering from chronic pain. I thank you very much from the bottom of my heart for all you have done to help me on my healing journey. I will continue to see you weekly to keep my body stabilized and balanced. Thanks again for all you have done. Feel free to have any future patients contact me if they are considering laser therapy treatment.

Sincerely,

Tara Race

Dear Dr. Malkin and Staff,

I am writing this letter toyour attention in regards to the wonderful physical therapy I received in your office for the auto accident I suffered this May 2009. .J And I must say when I arrived at your office-l was quite ill with pain~ and for those who are suffering with that nagging pain” you must have that pain relieved and just not with taking a pill or an injection that pain at times needs to be worked out and that is exactly what happened to me, that pain that was making me ill and I unable to work and perform my job accordingly, was slowly, but completely worked out of my system in which ,by the time I was released for your care was so much better. Pain, is but an awful symptom that can just drag you down to the point that your whole life just is on hold and that is one symptom no one person should suffer with.

Therefore I must say once again to Dr. Malkin and his staff thank you so much for all
of your experience in returning me to my normal status.

Always Respectfully,

Rosemary H.. Hoffman

Dear Dr. Malkin,

This letter is long over due, I have been wanting to thank you for all your support and expert edical help that you have given Jared this last year. It was a very stressful time for him (and us) both emotionally and physically. His body was so debilitated with pain, and not knowing what to do about it was frustrating, to say the least. And I can tell you, there was not only fear in losing the job he had wanted so bad to be his career, but also if you can’t work, how can you pay your bills? Without your knowledge and understanding about how to help someone legally and medically, Jared would never have gotten the help he needed. I want you to know that you were a Godsend. And I have told Jared that it was no accident that I met you last December. Someone up above is watching out for us! Jared is slowly feeling emotionally better. He still has to be careful about not sitting more than a few minutes at a time. He is mostly propped up in bed. This thing is taking a long time for his body to heal.

I look forward to seeing you again this December.

Thanks,

I was suffering from stiffness in my pinkie finger, ringer finger and right wrist, a burning sensation in my right forearm, the back of my hand felt itchy all the time, to the point where I almost scratched my skin off. I had weakness in my right shoulder. I originally went to see my family physician and my x-ray showed a severe curvature in ‘neck and was diagnosed with a degenerated disc in my neck. My physician prescribed 10 physical therapy sessions, in which I received hot packs, was shown stretching exercise and received 30 minutes of traction. It did relief some of the pain, but I still had the burning sensation in my forearm and stiffness in my fingers. I was offered more physical therapy or a cortisone injection into the affected area (spinal). I hear a radio advertisement for spinal decompression and did further investigation of the internet. I decided to give it a try and avoid the cortisone injection. After the initial consultation, the prescribed plan was for 10 treatments. After only 2 treatments, I was feeling better. The burring sessions in my forearm disappeared and after 4 treatments all of the stiffness and other symptoms subsided. With one last treatment, I can say that spinal decompression saved me from an unnecessary procedure.

Dear Dr. Malkin:

I am so thankful my sister in Washington state looked on the website to find me a doctor in California who could help with my painfully heel. I have been so depressed about this unbearable pain in my heel and I thought I would have to live with the limping and pain, but to my surprise and shock, my first visit was less pain and by the 4th visitI was almost pain free ..

Thank you from the bottom of my heart that you have helped me in so many ways. Even though I am not 100 better, I IG10W I will be there soon.

Again, thanks Dr. Malkin for making me walk normal again with less pain . I’m so grateful.                                                              .

Sincerely with all my heart,

Dear Dr. Malkin,

This is to thank you for your care and treatment of my neck using spinal decompression over the past several months.

When I first came to you in September, I was experiencing tingling and numbing in my right arm and hand, especially after sitting at a computer. An MRI showed that I had a bulging disc of about 5 mm at C-5 and C-6 and X-rays showed a narrowing of disc space at C6 and C7. My doctor wanted to send me to a neurosurgeon to see about surgery or, if I didn’t want surgery, to send me to a doctor who would give me injections to deal with the tingling and numbness, He was skeptical of spinal decompression doing any good.

However, after a couple of weeks of spinal decompression and gentle spinal adjustments, the tingling and numbing was reduced significantly. By the middle of November, after an average of two spinal decompression treatments a week, about 98 percent of my symptoms were gone, with only an occasional very light buzzing or electrical feeling that sometimes occurred in my left wrist. This went away after a few weeks ~d seemed to move to the tip of my rigb.’t thumb on occasion.

Since January, I have been receiving two spinal decompression treatments a month, and now I feel even better than before the numbing and tingling ever started. I have had neck problems for years, needing treatment for stiffness and headaches, but these too have lessened with this treatment.

Thanks again for your care, and thank you for helping me stay away from the surgeon’s knife!

Dr. Malkin has been instrumental in both straightening out my neck and dealing with the resistance of the Worker’s Compensation Adjusters to pay closer attention to their patients pain and responsibility to the patient.

Dr. Malkin is the only reason why I am no longer suffering extreme pain after two long years of not having proper medical care.

The only treatment that I was offered to me from worker’s Compensation was 6 weeks of physical therapy and that only seemed to make my neck hurt more.

Now, after two long years, my neck’pain is no longer beiqg neglected and I’m very well, now, thanks to his care. The recent institution of these spinal decompression treatments have been at the corner stone of what I have needed since the beginning. As a matter of fact, I even mentioned to the therapist on several occasions that my neck felt much better when it was being pulled off my head away from my shoulders and separating the vertebrae to a position where they were not rubbing or pinching the nerve in my neck as the therapists would do just before they placed me in a

room with a bunch of big bouncy balls and stretch rubber bands, but believe it or not, that was not doing me any good and the therapy never did any thing but cause me more pain.

Sincerely,

Robert G. Beliveau
